Catchy Writing

Hello, fellow people of the earth,

This term we are working on a strong narrative. It has to be believable and descriptive and Constantine.  

Yesterday, we were learning to show not tell. we looked for all our week action word we changed them into strong action word using thesaurus. Here is the link to Thesaurus  

This is how we did it:  Al gave Miss D coffee

This is the sentience we changed: Al kindly rewarded Miss D with a delicious, hot cappuccino.

Making a Strong Narrative

KIA ORA readers,

Today we will be showing you what we have been doing in Term 2 writing. This term we have been learning how to write a strong narrative. A strong narrative is believable, descriptive and consistent. We can describe the setting and characters. 

Today we did Sick Sentences. We changed boring sentences into strong descriptive sentences  into strong descriptive sentences. 

Here is one of my boring sentences 

Anna touched the mirror 

Here is the changed sentence. 

Anna sat down and Anna touched the mirror. The class shook With her Tips of her fingers

We also wrote a story here is the photo we used.

Here is my favorite paragraph that I wrote: When she placed her hand on the mirror she got pulled in by a ugler version of her. The uglier version of her swapped  places with Anna and put a blanket over her face. When her mom came up and gave the ugly thing a hug when she did that the beast bit her head off. The beast went down stairs still with the blanket on and ripped her dads head off and killed her brother and sister as well. The beast went back to the attic and told the girl you family is dead I killed them all.
