100 word challange

Hello welcome to my blog,

Today I will be showing you my hundred-word challenge 

for the 100 word challenge, we had to write about a firefighter fighting a fire in the forest or woods 

but we could not go over 100 words or under 100 words, it wasn't that hard to do but here is my work.

There was a massive fire in the port hills I was called in for my job so I rushed over there in my full firefighter gear and started to wash out the fire but there was so much and eventually, the fire truck ran out of water so we changed trucks, then there were a massive roar of fire more and more firefighters came to fight it but the fire was too big there was smoke everywhere it was smelly hot and scary but we kept fighting it more helicopters came in and saved us and the fire was out.

Rainbow Smoothie Letter

Today I will be showing you a letter I made for my workshop Rainbow Smoothie,

here is the letter I made 

Dear Ms Whea Raewyn 

I am writing to you because I am interested in applying for finance from the Star Starters.
I understand because there is special funding available for new businesses that have innovative ideas.

Our business is called Rainbow Smoothie. The people working in Rainbow smoothie are Kyle Connor and Robert. 

We have some good flavors like banana,blueberry, raspberry, strawberry

We would like to borrow some money from you we would need to use $350 to make our rainbow smoothie workshop

We are going to buy a blender, table that lights up, chairs that also light up, smoothie cups

We are going to sell some smoothies. We called it a rainbow smoothie because we sell a variety of flavors.

S: Sport, I went to my friend's house a lot and played basketball for like 2 hours sometimes it got boring so we went onto the trampoline.

P: playing NBA 2k20, I played a lot of 2k because its my favorite game I usually play park I'm ss1 (superstar 1) my build is an off threat (offensive threat)

I: I went to sleep during the holidays.

L: Lunch: I ate lunch during the holidays.

s: Superstar 1, I hit ss1 on 2k20 now I can take my top off and get neck tattoos.

re are a few facts about Henry Sunderland

Henry has worked as a Children's presenter with TVNZ and has illustrated a number of children's books with his twin brother. Henry became involved in art education at a secondary level in the late 1980s before joining Ara in 2002. He freelances as a cartoonist, creative adviser and guest speaker on creativity. 

Of interest to me, he was Head of the Art Department at Hornby High for 20years.

maths

 Hello welcome to my blog

Today I will be discussing maths we have been doing in class

We had to work on a worksheet about algebra, algebra uses symbols x,y, and other stuff

and just like every other math thing. it uses addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

We used some shapes for our algebra we had to do and it was like adding them e.g.

2 square       4 square      6 square, the answer would be adding 2 every time and it got harder every time but  it was still pretty easy 

we also did another task it was really easy I'll give you an example

25 + F = 65

what you would do is take away 25 from the 25 so the f is by it self then take away 25 from the 65 to make it even then the answer is 40

that was like the maths for the whole time and different questions

Fathers day

 On the 5th of September 2021 is fathers day.

To start off, this is a time where you can wake up in the morning and make some bacon and eggs for your dad with a nice coffee in bed that helps him relax and just smooth his day out. 

He then gets out of bed with the cramps go up and chop his back that helps him with a breezy easy day he's walking down the hallway ready to go sit and on the couch to just chill out with the rest of your family he sits down and then you and your family walk into the kitchen and start talking about what your gonna give him as a gift so you grab the bag, the card and whatever else walk up to him and say "HAPPY FATHERS DAY" even tho you said that to him in the morning when he woke up then you and your family give him a big hug and use then go on with your day.

You've had a good day with your dad mabey you went out to the zoo or to the park for a picnic your whole family is tired it's night time and then you tell your day if he had a good day and thx him for everything he does for you if you don't your a bad person then use all go to sleep

Story time

 Hello welcome to my blog,

Today I will be doing more online school 

and for today we have to fix the story or something like that, there is the story if you wanna look at it.

The first question, it asks: who might be the character in the picture?: Answer Slenderman.

 second question: do the trees remind you of anything: No.

third question: why do you think there might be fences on either side of the road?: To stop people from trying to go into the forest/woods or if cars crash they won't go very far because the fence is there even tho they could easily break through it 

Fourth question: Where do you think the road might lead to?: Another road or a dead end.

Fifth question: What time of day do you think it is: 6:30 am.

sixth question: What kind of sounds would you be able to hear if you were there?: the trees rustling and the ground when you walk on it.

A few of my fav things

Since we are in lockdown level 4 we have to do some online learning.

For this task, we have to list some of our favourite things e.g I favourite sport is Basketball

Just because I want to, I'm going to add a reason why I like this thing

My favourite sport:  Basketball because it's very fast like your always running up and down the court.

 

Favourite foods: I like most takeaways like(Mc Donalds subway and Burger king) 

My favourite thing to do: Play PlayStation (ps4)  I don't know why I'm so addicted to it I just am 

and before I forget my favourite animal: a Cat because most of the time they don't try to jump on you like dogs do

Bastion Point Occupation

Today this blog post will be presenting Batsion Point Occupation

here is question one on my work sheet I have to do

1. Why did the iwi move onto the park?: After signing the Treaty of Waitangi lost most of their land in Aukland, Bastion point was confiscated and later became a council park.

2. where did the food from?: It goes donated to them, they were given a sack of spuds or some cabages 

3. what are spuds? a spud is another word for a potato

4. to forcibly remove protestors and destroy their make-shift camp.

5. Why do you think the buildings were demolished?. I'm not sure about this one maybe because the homes that they paid for wanted to knock it down so it would be a waste of money.

6. In my opinion was the occupation successful?. Kind of maybe it lasted a while but in the end, they got their land back so kind of it worked out for them.

Kupe and the wheke ending

I will be telling the ending of the story(I made the end of the story up) 

When Kupe hit Te Wheke in between the eyes he died and Kupe celebrated with his wife and crew.

They decided to go check out the island that they chased Te Wheke to

They hopped off their waka and went onto the island it turns out it was a trap 100's of men were there with crossbows they yelled "FIREEEEEE"!!!!!

all the men got shot even the dog and Kupe's wife

Bastion point: Bastion point is a place in Auckland, New Zealand

What happened in Bastion point?: The occupation of Bastion Point lasted 506 days. It began on 5 January 1977 and ended on 25 May 1978 (the 507th day)

 222 protesters were evicted to their country and going to jail.

Here are some facts about the raiding in bastion point

1. it was the 1st in 3 

2. The protest ended when the government sent in police to clear the protesters and demolish their makeshift homes. 

3. the island really was owned by Ngāti Whātua iwi

Resolving conflict

 Resolving conflict 

Santi asked Jared if he could borrow his bike to go to soccer practice. This is a brand new bike Jared just got for his birthday, and he really doesn’t want to lend it to Santi. Santi promises to take good care of it and says he would lend his bike to Jared if he asked because they are friends so Jared should do the same thing.

Write a Story for this

On a sunny day as Santi and Jared were coming back from school then Santi asked out of the bloom ‘’Can I borrow your bike so I can get to soccer practice?’’  

Jared was very unsure about this because he had just gotten his bike for his birthday. And he didn't want to give it to Santi because he was worried that Santi might break it or give it to someone else to ride then they might break it. As Jared was thinking in his head about this Santi ask one more time ‘’Can I please use your bike to get to soccer practice?’’Then Jason replied ‘’Sorry I can't if my parents found out they would ground me for at least 2 days and I don't want to be grounded’’.’’ Oh ok that's ok just walk or just ask to be dropped off Santi said

Hello Jacob, thank you for being here today at this interview.

I'm just going to ask you a few questions about some movies you have been in etc.

Mosque attack

 

Ahmed Iqbal Jahangir

 

Ahmed Iqbal Jahangir was a person that was in the mosque attack

 

Ahmed was a brave person because of what he did in the mosque attack

Ahmed was in a church in the back row of the men’s section on the 15th of March, 

with the women partitioned off in a separate area immediately behind him. As he prayed, one of his Muslim brothers started shouting that someone was shooting. Without knowing where the shooter was, Jahangir immediately went to check on the women. “I just asked all the ladies to get down and hide in the corner. They’re not too far from the main door and I said, you all need to be quiet.” 

He hoped that if they remained still and didn’t make a sound, the gunman might not even notice the separate partition. As he came back out, he glanced around - and found himself standing right in front of the shooter. There was no time to react. The man shot him and then Ahmed was on the ground.

Blood filled his mouth, he recalls. “After a while, I struggled a lot to keep myself awake and not go unconscious.” After what seemed like a long time, the shooting stopped. Police arrived, then paramedics. There was an ambulance ride - that much he remembers - and after that, oblivion.

Had the women tried to flee the same way he did, rather than stay huddled behind the partition, Jahangir believes many of them would have been gunned down too. “If the women had started coming from there, he would have shot everyone. By the grace of the almighty, most of the women were saved.”

That was the story of how Ahmed was brave and put other people in before he put himself

Know to so facts about Ahmed:

1. He still has to have 2 more surgeries but I think that there all done now because this was 2 years ago. 

2. He might never get to use his right hand again… Just imagine that never being able to use your right hand again and you were right-handed
