SPCA is the only charity with the legal powers to help animals in need and bring animal offenders to justice. Our Inspectors are appointed under the Animal Welfare Act 1999 which provides powers to investigate cruelty, abuse, neglect and abandonment.
The SPCA is a place where you can look at animals and half of them are cute. The dogs are cute I guess.

I read the SPCA in one of the school books. It means special pet care.I loved reading it, its where you help pets and make them better.I'd take care of my pet very well.
ReplyDeleteHi Connor!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a part of the Summer Learning Journey team and I'll be commenting on some of your awesome blog posts over the summer. Congratulations on completing your very first activity! I'm so pleased that you've decided to take part in the programme. :)
Isn't the SPCA a wonderful organisation? I've always wanted to volunteer there but I haven't yet been able to. Maybe that will be my New Year's resolution. :)
I'd want to look after the dogs. Which animals would you most like to care for?
Keep up the amazing blogging, Connor. I can't wait to read more posts from you soon.
Mā te wā,
Mikey :)
