I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mฤnuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
This is an interesting choice of maths question as it is an open one. Which means that the answers could change depending on how you decided on the groupings. What would happen if there were 6 people in the family? And how about 5? Interestingly 5 would not be correct because the family could share them equally. This is because 5 is not a factor of 72. This maths question is not just about division and groupings but also factors.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
